#🏗️ Project Overview& 🏢 Exhibition Facilities#
The development is spread over a total built-up area of approximately 890,000 square metres, making it India’s largest convention and exhibition complex. The project is being developed in two phases, with Phase 1 scheduled to be completed in September 2023 and Phase 2 in 2025. When fully completed, the centre will have five spacious exhibition halls, a multi-purpose convention centre and a retractable roof area, among other world-class facilities.([IICC New Delhi][3])* **Phase 1**: This phase, scheduled to be completed in September 2023, comprises two exhibition halls with a combined indoor exhibition area of over 60,000 square metres. Each hall is designed with a clear span of up to 160 metres and a ceiling height of 15 metres, capable of hosting large-scale exhibitions and trade shows.([IICC New Delhi][4])* **Phase 2**: Upon completion, Phase 2 will add three more exhibition halls, taking the total indoor exhibition space to over 240,000 sq ft. #🏛️Conference and Arena Facilities#
* **Conference Centre**: The convention centre will have a plenary hall with a seating capacity of 6,000 people, as well as 13 conference rooms that can accommodate up to 2,600 delegates. The facility is designed to host international conferences, summits and exhibitions.([IICCL][1])* **Multi-purpose Arena**: The Arena will have a retractable roof and a seating capacity of over 20,000 people, making it suitable for a wide range of events, including concerts, sporting events and large exhibitions.### 🌿 Sustainability and Smart InfrastructureYashobhoomi has been designed with sustainability in mind. The complex is expected to achieve Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Platinum certification, which includes the following features:([IICCL][5])* Roof-mounted solar photovoltaic panels generate 5% of the energy of the connected load.([IICCL][5])* Rainwater harvesting system.* Pneumatic solid waste management.([IICCL][5])* 40% dedicated green and open spaces.([IICCL][5])Additionally, the campus will have emission-free electric shuttle services, centralized air-conditioning systems, and a centralized command and control center for smart infrastructure management.([IICCL][5]).
